Bradley appeal continues on Monday

Graham Bradley’s appeal hearing over an eight-year ban from racing and a £2,500 fine will reconvene on Monday – 10 weeks after it was postponed.

The first day of a planned two-day hearing was held on January 14 but the second date a week later was postponed when Fiona Whitaker, one of two Jockey Club members on the Appeal Board, contracted pneumonia.

The delay was necessary as the timetable of inquiries at Portman Square and availability of the legal teams from both sides, including three QCs, meant it could not be arranged any earlier.
