On the second day of dressage, Kennedy produced an impressive display to score 53.20 with Hector Pascal, but Sheffield maintained his strong grip, following his opening day performances with Too Bahru and Brown Bear, first and second, respectively.

Kennedy stole the best of the Irish mantle from Louisa Clarke (Blue Moss), the Northerner holding on to fourth place going into today’s cross-country phase.

Meanwhile, Ireland’s Sarah Ennis, riding Peninsula Camross, maintained her overnight lead in the CCI one-star, with Joseph Murphy second on Ra Ra Ruby.
