Nassau target for Ouija
The dual Classic winner only beat one home in the Prince Of Wales’s Stakes after losing a shoe and finding herself ill at ease on the loose ground.
The daughter of Cape Cross is reported to have come out of the race “OK”, although she is being treated for a quarter-crack.
“I think realistically we will have to forget about yesterday,” said trainer Ed Dunlop.
“She seems OK at home at the moment. A possible next target is the Nassau Stakes, but we’ll do some work on the quarter-crack and take it from there.”
“She’s not sore on it now. She’s got a shoe on as we speak. Hopefully, we’ll get away with it.”
