Transportation costs could rule Babington out of Nations Cup

IRELAND’S Nations Cup campaign could be without the services of Kevin Babington this season, transport costs for Carling King threatening his participation.

Babington says he may have to limit his European participation unless the Equestrian Federation of Ireland contributes significantly towards the horse’s transport costs.

“I do not know how much I will jump on the team in 2005, as it’s a huge expense, particularly last year.
