Russell rouses Fools Rush In for emphatic victory

THREE days after his Grade 1 success on The Railway Man at Leopardstown, Davy Russell was back among the winners at Fairyhouse yesterday, bringing his total for the season to 60 with an easy win on Fools Rush In in the Advanced Hospitality Bookings Maiden Hurdle.

Russell rouses Fools Rush In for emphatic victory

Russell shot Fools Rush In to the front on the final turn and the seven year-old soon drew clear to win unchallenged by 12 lengths.

Robert Tyner, who trains the winner for Riverstick publican, Maurice Kelliher, said: "Maurice bought this horse with one bid at the Newmarket sales. He handled the very testing ground today but he doesn't like it that heavy. He will probably go handicapping, but we may run him first in a winners race."
