Kalaman and Trade Fair top Sussex market

KALAMAN and Trade Fair are vying for favouritism for tomorrow’s Group One Sussex Stakes at Goodwood.

The pair, trained by Sir Michael Stoute and Roger Charlton respectively, are the joint market leaders at 2-1 with Coral for the mile event, while William Hill have Kalaman as the clear 13-8 favourite.

Kalaman is one of 11 horses declared for the race and he will be bidding to go one place better than his runner-up spot in the St James's Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot.
