ONE COOL COOKIE is a confident choice to land the first division of the Fillet Beef-Medium Rare Maiden Hurdle at Limerick this afternoon.

The former winning pointer has run two promising races over flights and Charlie Swan's gelding should now be poised to strike.

He started his career on the racecourse with a reasonable fifth behind Sky's The Limit on this track and followed with a better effort at Punchestown.

One Cool Cookie tried to make all, but was run out of it from the final flight and beaten four and a half lengths into second spot by Letterman. He should find this a lot easier.

The dropped-in-class The Deadly will take all the beating in the second division of the Coffee and Cheque Please Maiden Hurdle.

He was out of his depth, but not disgraced, when sixth of 20 finishers in the contest won by Outlaw Princess at Naas last month.

Eoin Doyle's The Fonze is fancied to enjoy a rapid three-timer in the Creme Brulee Handicap Hurdle.

He was very impressive when scoring on successive days at Fairyhouse last week and has gone up a whopping 20lbs for his audacity.

The Fonze now has to hump 12-0, but this seems a particularly weak contest and he can prove up to the task.
