Hardy Eustace unlikely to run in Red Mills
“I am worried about his current well-being. I would say he's about 90% right, but definitely not 100%. I will speak to his owner, Lar Byrne in the morning and we will make a decision then,” trainer Dessie Hughes said at Clonmel yesterday.
Following the downbeat news from Hughes, Cashmans pushed Hardy Eustace out to 3-1 from 5-2, with a run, for this weekend’s race.
Red Mills Trial Hurdle, Cashmans bet: 4-9 Macs Joy, 3-1 Essex, 7-1 Asian Maze, 16-1 Escrea, Ground Ball, Sky’s The Limit, 33-1 McGruders Cross, 80-1 Tolpuddle.
