Six from Ballydoyle still in French line-up

AIDAN O’BRIEN, who indicated on Sunday last at the Curragh that Ballydoyle might bypass next Sunday’s French Derby at Chantilly, left in six possibilities at yesterday’s first acceptance stage.

They are The Great Gatsby, Brian Boru, France, Handel, Alberto Giacometti and Balestrini.

O’Brien said yesterday that all six will remain in the classic until the declaration stage on Friday morning.
