Casey back in business as Project obliges

“HE’S lost none of his bottle”, said Charlie Swan of David Casey, after the rider had partnered Strong Project to win the Southampton Goodwill Chase at Listowel yesterday.

It was Casey’s first success, following his return from a serious neck injury. He made his comeback at Tipperary nine days earlier, having been on the sidelines since taking a fall from Emotional Aricle at Fairyhouse on March 29.

“This feels as good as ever”, remarked a delighted Casey.
