PALATINE ANNA looks the part in the Tote Retention A5 Stakes decider at Curraheen Park tonight.

Progressive Palatine Anna looks poised to follow-up

The selection came good at the third attempt last week, making all in a fastest of the round 29.08.

Palatine Anna has plenty of scope and a three draw is unlikely to halt her progress.

Moyneriver Joe kept on well to get within two and a half lengths of Palatine Anna last time. Ideally, drawn on the rails, dual winner Moyneriver Joe should again be thereabouts. Unique Dub, who overcame trouble in running to make it two wins from four starts in 29.46, is another to consider.

Oakfront Trail, beaten at odds-on on his debut last month, can make amends in the fifth. This fellow was none too clever at the break but kept on well to get within a couple of lengths of the winner in 29.66. Likely to benefit for the experience, Oakfront Trail can recoup losses.

The well drawn Leeview Belle will have her supporters in the last but preference is for Maneens Magic. The Liam Egan trained runner has a 29.58 effort at Youghal to his credit and can gain compensation for an unlucky run here last time.
