PAUL CASHMAN partnered the initial four-timer of his career at the well-attended Tallow point-to-point, run under the auspices of the West Waterford Foxhounds, on Jimmy Mangan’s lands at Conna yesterday.

The highlight of Cashman’s afternoon was surely his ridiculously-easy success aboard the John Hassett-trained Back On Top (1/3) in the open lightweight.

Icy Calm went for home with six fences remaining, however the eventual winner moved through to assume command at the second last. Back On Top effortlessly swept clear from before the last to beat Icy Calm by 20 lengths.
