High-Rise to stand in Ireland
Rated 130 by Timeform as a three-year-old, the Luca Cumani-trained colt was unbeaten at the time of his Classic victory. Successful in his only start at two and a stakes winner again at five, his career also included finishing a close second to Swain in the King George VI at Ascot and a third in the Japan Cup. High-Rise won his juvenile debut over Doncaster’s seven furlongs and, on his way to Epsom, he took the Coloroll Derby Trial at Lingfield.
He is a son of undefeated champion European two-year-old High Estate from the family of In The Wings and Zomaradah. His 2004 fee has been set at 1,500 October 1.
