Suitable opportunity for Max Almighty
The son of Polish Precedent made a less than spectacular start at Cork back in March when finishing a poor eighth behind one of last week's Royal Ascot at York heroine, Beautyandthebeast. He wasn't seen again until returning to Cork ten days ago and performed well enough to indicate that a little contest such as this was within his compass.
Admittedly, he proved no match for John Oxx's well-touted and heavily-backed newcomer, Behkiyra, but stuck to his task in good style to be beaten a length and a half.
