Easy winner Hanicor likely to attempt quick double at the Curragh

FRANCES CROWLEY, looking forward to running Irish 1000 Guineas heroine Saoire in tomorrow's Pretty Polly at the Curragh, teamed up with husband, Pat Smullen, to take the Town and District Professionals Handicap with Hanicor at Tipperary last night.

The strapping four-year-old could be clearly mapped as the likely winner off the turn in, so well was he travelling.

Smullen soon let out an inch of rein and Hanicor was in front well over a furlong down to easily beat Tamworth.
