THE plans of Equestrian Federation of Ireland (EFI) secretary general Dan Butler for Irish international participation this year are coming to fruition.

Last Monday, the EFI announced that Commandant John Ledingham is to chair a new committee to select riders for team and individual international participation.

Comdt Ledingham and the manager will decide selections with two advisors, who have yet to be named. It is not known what role will be allocated to the advisors.
