Ahane Lad can ease into Tiny Buds final
Owen McKenna’s ace turned in an impressive display when making it seven wins from 19 starts in 29.93 last week.
Tyrur Ted was a brilliant winner of the Cashmans Laurels but has been beaten in two subsequent starts, completely mistiming his break when second last week.
Lenson Tom made all last week in a fastest of the round 29.84, but could struggle to get around Ahane Lad at the opening bend.
McKenna can also land the opening semi-final with the well drawn Droopys Dior.
This seven-times winner was none too clever at the break when third behind Lenson Tom but can bounce back from a rails draw.
So Perfect can complete a rewarding night for McKenna by taking the Blarney A2 Backgraders Stakes.
So Perfect was soon at the head of affairs when beating Hoppers Fortune two and a half lengths in 28.72 in the semis and can confirm the placings.
