Punctilious can stake Oaks claim

PUNCTILIOUS has her first start for Godolphin in the Tattersalls Musidora Stakes at the opening of York’s three-day Dante meeting and the classy filly can stake her claim for the Vodafone Oaks.

The daughter of Danehill, who was under the care of Michael Jarvis last term, won on her first two starts before finishing third in the Fillies’ Mile at Ascot in September.

She was only just behind Sun Drop on that occasion, and with her now-stablemate heading the Oaks betting, a clear-cut victory for Punctilious, who has wintered well in Dubai, will see her prominent in ante-post lists.
