Alimo can complete McKenna hat-trick

TRAINER Owen McKenna can taste further success in the €7000 to-the-winner Guinness Trophy at Curraheen tonight.

McKenna has turned out the last two winners of the event, Boherduff Light in 2004 and Student Pass 12 months ago, and can complete a notable hat-trick with Alimo.

Unlucky when second in the first round, Alimo bounced back with a 29.01 run in the quarter-finals.
