Normal service restored as Carberry returns with a double
The champion jockey was at his confident best when partnering Khetaam to a cheeky half length win from Pay It Forward in the two and a quarter mile Thomastown Maiden Hurdle.
And afterwards, trainer Noel Meade commented: “Khetaam is a good horse and had been a bit unlucky not to win over hurdles before now. He shows us plenty at home and will be running again over Christmas.”
