Dubawi retired

DUBAWI, Godolphin’s brilliant winner of the Irish 2000 Guineas and Prix Jacques le Marois, has been retired after suffering an injury to a hind ligament.

The three-year-old has been the star progeny of his ill-fated sire Dubai Millennium and had been due to run in the Breeders’ Cup Mile at Belmont Park on October 29.

Dubawi made his final racecourse appearance when runner-up to Starcraft in the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes last month.
