Agree set for a four-timer

THE exciting Wouldn’t You Agree, whose future is very much over fences, can complete a four-timer in the William Fry Solicitors’ Novice Hurdle at Tipperary this evening.

He scored twice at the Galway Festival, landing a Bumper as a prelude to an easy success in a maiden hurdle.

The six-year-old’s latest effort was on this track three weeks ago.

He produced a fine display to beat Torduff Boy (rec. 7lbs) by three and a half lengths.

Christy Roche’s gelding made every yard of the running, turning in a performnce that had class written all over it, and should again prove hard to beat!

Kariydan, who cost punters a bundle at Clonmel a week ago, can redress the balance somewhat by landing the Sponsor A Race at Tipperary Handicap Hurdle.

He was backed from 6’s and 5’s on the morning of that particular contest and was taken from 3-1 to 7-4 on course.

The selection was travelling sweetly on the heel of the leaders when unseating Paul Carberry four out in the race eventually won by Octagonal. It is impossible to say whether Noel Mede’s charge would have won or not, but, for now, is entitled to the benefit of the doubt.

John Oxx and Johnny Murtagh are enjoying a golden spell and the lightly raced Raydaniya can prove another for the duo in the Raceline Maiden.

She showed only a little first time out, on this track, and then improved dramatically to finish a length and a half second to Musical Stage at Roscommon.
