Falbrav appeal

CONNECTIONS of Falbrav are unlikely to learn the outcome of their appeal, against the decision by the Leopardstown stewards not to award their horse the Ireland The Food Island Champion Stakes, until the middle of next month at the earliest.

Denis Egan, chief executive of the Irish Turf Club, said: “At this stage October 9 would look a possibility, but it will be early next week before we set a date.”
