Mullins opts for World Hurdle with Rule supreme

WILLIE MULLINS has finally decided to run Rule Supreme in tomorrow’s Ladbrokes’ World Hurdle at Cheltenham, rather than the Gold Cup on Friday.

The Carlow handler had agonised for days and was thought to be very much favouring a tilt at the Gold Cup.

But after walking the track on Monday, he came down in favour of the easier option and a clash with hot-pot, Baracouda.
