United heading to Punchestown

UNITED bypasses an outing at Ayr today in order to wait for a crack at the Champion 4-Y-O Hurdle at the Punchestown Festival later this month.

Lucy Wadham’s charge is unbeaten in both her British starts, routing a field of maidens at Huntingdon in February before landing a competitive event at Stratford last month, where she won by five lengths from the useful Pay Attention and Voy Por Ustedes with the fourth, sixth, seventh and eighth having won since.

Meanwhile, Jim Culloty will have to spend the next few days on the sidelines following a fall at Cheltenham on Wednesday that has left him battered and bruised. However, no bones were broken.
