REIGNING CHAMP can floor his rivals in the Open 575 at tonight's benefit night at Curraheen Park in aid of Glen Rovers Hurling Club.

A second round casualty in the Irish Derby where a mistimed exit cost him dearly, Reigning Champ ran a cracker when going under by the narrowest of margins in 30.06 on his penultimate outing at Shelbourne Park. Reigning Champ, who numbers a 31.30 course and distance effort among his four career wins, can bounce back here.
