Hourigan hits out at Beef’s detractors

MICHAEL HOURIGAN yesterday hit out at critics of Gold Cup favourite Beef Or Salmon, writes Pat Keane.

Commented Hourigan: “You can't be confident going into a race like the Gold Cup, but it is a load of cobblers when people suggest he doesn't like Cheltenham.

“Last year Paul Carberry said he could have pulled him up after a couple of fences. But this year he has had a great preparation, nothing has gone wrong.
