Tipperary racecourse to be put up for sale

HORSE RACING IRELAND has decided to offer Tipperary racecourse for sale early next year.

The track is currently run by Limerick Junction Race Company Ltd and their lease expired on October 7.

The decision was taken on Monday at a meeting of the board of HRI. It was decided that the 135 acre site would be sold by tender.
