THE progressive Kilquane Lad looks the part in the Tote Retention A4 decider at Curraheen Park tonight.

A mechanical problem resulted in the first round heats being run over 550 yards, but this mattered little to Kilquane Lad who made it four wins from six starts in 30.57.

Michael Everard’s runner, who showed his rivals the way round last week, has scope for improvement and can land the spoils.
