BOOKMAKERS closed the betting for the top jockey title at Royal Ascot at York yesterday with Mick Kinane still leading despite a winnerless afternoon.

Kieren Fallon, who started the day three behind Kinane on one victory, also failed to add to his tally, his best placing a second on Mullins Bay in the Wolferton Handicap.

Kinane could only produce a second place on Vague in the opening Albany Stakes.
