The Italian was on the mark with Godolphin's Munaddam in the opening University And Literary Club/EBF Maiden Stakes but failed to feature on any of his four other rides.

Defending champion Fallon was in action at Windsor where he had seven rides but no winners, leaving him on 157 winners compared to Dettori's 163.
