The Parishioner set for four-timer

THE PARISHIONER is fancied to supply the answer to a fascinating Michael Purcell Memorial Novice Hurdle at Thurles today.

Very highly regarded by Michael Hourigan and seeking a four-timer, this is easily the six-year-old’s stiffest test to date.

He won a moderate bumper at Limerick and an ordinary maiden hurdle at Cork, before moving into a higher grade on this track last time.
