Dunlop pinpoints three Oaks dangers
The Newmarket trainer pinpointed All Too Beautiful, Punctilious and Hazarista as dangers even though Ouija Board beat the first two easily at Epsom last month.
“All Too Beautiful is a very inexperienced filly and should improve, I would have thought.
“Punctilious obviously came out and won the Ribblesdale, so I fear both of them, and John Oxx’s filly (Hazarista) won a Group race earlier in the year and no-one really knows an awful lot about her yet. They are all dangers.
Oxx hopes to land his third Irish Oaks in eight years with the fast-improving Hazarista.
The Barathea filly, owned and bred by the Aga Khan, has won her last two starts, including a Group Three event when last seen at Cork in May.
“She is up against it with the first three from Epsom, and basically we will be delighted if she can get into the money and make the placings,” declared Oxx.
“She has won at a mile and a mile and quarter, so we’re hoping she will improve for the mile and a half.
“The dam stayed, but she will have to improve a stone just to get in the money,” added Oxx, who won the Oaks with Winona (1998) and Ebadiyla (1997).
Ladbrokes bet: 4-6 Ouija Board, 3-1 All Too Beautiful, 9-2 Punctilious, 16-1 Sahool, 20-1 Danelissima, Rave Reviews, 25-1 Hazarista, 40-1 La Ina, 50-1 Royal Tigress, 250-1 Marinnette.
