Oneofthesimpsons was getting eight pounds from Runfar last time and with a turnaround of only a pound I cannot see Runfar reversing a three lengths difference.
Oneofthesimpsons seems to be improving with each race and is given the vote to chalk up his second success of the year - his last win being over this evening’s trip at Listowel in April .
The best bet on the card could be Rathgowney Lad in the six furlong Jimmy Tierney Memorial Handicap.
The Peter Martin trained gelding showed he was back to his best at Cork recently when getting up in the last few strides to beat Sauterelle in a seven furlong race. The main danger may come from Eura Star.
Christtavelli, a three parts of a length second to Temptation Island in a ten furlong contest at Clonmel earlier in the month, can go one better in the Tote Exacta Maiden.
Christtavelli was only headed in the closing stages last time and will appreciate the furlong shorter trip here.
Michael Grassick, who is having a good run of luck of late, will fancy the chances of his Dame Alicia. The Sadlers Wells filly ran an excellent race when a head and three parts of a length third to Indian Belle and Ickingham in a highly competitive €20,000 Maiden at the Curragh in May.
The Western People Handicap looks quite an open affair and here a chance is taken with Trigolden, while the Francis Flood trained The Penitant Man can go one better on his second to Another Dollar at Fairyhouse at the end of May by taking the Bumper.
