WILLIE MULLINS is hoping the rain stays away to give Hedgehunter every chance of completing back-to-back victories in the John Smith’s Grand National.

The legendary Red Rum was the last horse to win the Aintree showpiece in successive years in 1974 and Hedgehunter boosted his prospects by finishing second in the Cheltenham Gold Cup.

“He’s travelled over well. Ruby (Walsh) rode him this morning and said he felt in good order and I think he is too,” said Mullins.
