Derby favourite Yeats set for seasonal debut in Ballysax

Vodafone Derby favourite Yeats is set to make his seasonal reappearance at Leopardstown on Sunday as part of a card which should provide Classic clues aplenty.

The Aidan O'Brien-trained colt shot to favouritism for the blue riband following an easy four-length debut success at the Curragh on his sole outing as a juvenile. The son of Sadler's Wells features among 13 entries for the FPW McGrath Memorial Ballysax Stakes, a race which the Ballydoyle trainer successfully used to launch the three-year-old campaigns of his previous Derby winners, Galileo and High Chaparral.

The 10-furlong event has also attracted two Richard Hannon-trained entries in Fantastic View and Psychiatrist, although the former is declared to run in the bet365 Craven Stakes at Newmarket tomorrow.
