Stoute has perfect Trophy Alibi

MICHAEL STOUTE is set to have a runner in the Racing Post Trophy at Doncaster after supplementing Best Alibi for the final Group One event of the season in Britain.

Owner Maktoum Al Maktoum has stumped up the £17,500 fee to add the King’s Best colt to the field for Saturday’s mile feature after his win in a Leicester maiden last week.

Best Alibi beat Acheekyone by a neck over seven furlongs to get off the mark at the third time of asking.
