Invincible Man is hard to oppose

INVINCIBLE MAN can live up to his name by taking the Getting Out Stakes at Curraheen Park tomorrow.

The selection, with a 29.76 course and distance among his 10 career wins, made a promising reappearance over the standard trip last week.

Having his first race in over seven weeks, Invincible Man stayed on well to finish a two lengths third in 29.22. Likely to improve for the outing and step up in trip, Invincible Man can account for well-drawn five-times winner Silk Brindle.

Irish Derby casualty Chipp Lad can bounce back in the featured Tote Retention Open 525. In the wars when bowing out in the second round of the premier classic, Chipp Lad boasts a superb strike rate at this circuit, winning seven of his nine starts here, including a 28.18 run in May.
