Setback for War of Attrition

WAR OF ATTRITION, one of the most exciting young horses in the country, has met with a setback.

Trainer, Mouse Morris, reported last night that his charge has suffered a fracture to a splint-bone and is currently on the easy-list.

Said Morris: “He will have another X-ray around Christmas and we will know more then. But we think so much of this horse that we certainly won’t be pushing him.”
