Handel can be punters’ messiah

HANDEL is a confident choice to land the nap in the Challenge Stakes at Leopardstown tonight.

The son of Sadler’s Wells is a horse with a bright future, who wasn’t seen to best advantage in the Irish Derby at the Curragh last time.

Along with stable companion, High Country, he was used as a pacemaker by Ballydoyle and his final placing, eighth of nine behind Alamshar, is almost certainly no reflection of his true ability.
