Attraction worry for Johnston

The four-times Group One winner will make her seasonal debut in the Champions Mile on May 14 against Silent Witness, who chalked up his 17th consecutive victory in the Queen's Silver Jubilee Cup over seven furlongs at Sha Tin last month.

"She should get on the plane to Hong Kong tomorrow evening and I'll be relieved in many ways to see her go," said the trainer. "But we don't want to count any chickens until we see her get on the horsebox and see her get away."

The Duke of Roxburghe's filly, winner of the English and Irish 1000 Guineas, Coronation Stakes and Sun Chariot Stakes last season, completed her serious home preparation with a racecourse gallop at Newmarket on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Rakti is on course to return to action in the Juddmonte Lockinge Stakes at Newbury on Saturday week weather permitting.

The enigmatic six-year-old has not raced since he finished a disappointing seventh when favourite for the Hong Kong Cup last December but he is now reported in good order.

"He'll go for the Lockinge but he wouldn't want it any softer than good the quicker the better," said trainer Michael Jarvis.

"He has an alternative in Italy (Premio Presidente della Repubblica) that weekend and if he missed those he could go for the Prix d'Ispahan the following week at Longchamp. The ground will decide."
