TOP US jockey Gary Stevens teamed up with German trainer Andreas Wohler to take the Prix de Psyche with the unbeaten Quilanga at Deauville yesterday.

The German-bred fought out the finish of the 10-furlong Group Three race with Patrick Haslam’s Kinnaird, who had to settle for second spot, beaten a length.

Bay Tree, the second British runner, was never able to strike a blow and David Loder’s representative finished down the field.
