Silvergino can deliver a winning performance

SILVERGINO, who finished 21st the last time we saw him on a racecourse, is napped to take the Innkeepers’ Maiden Hurdle at Kilbeggan tonight.

David Wachman’s four-year-old had only two behind when filling that position in the seven furlongs handicap won by Barella at the Curragh back in April.

That performance is largely irrelevant, however, in the context of this contest, and of far more significance is the selection’s last two efforts over flights.
