Fort to fire at Windsor

WINDSOR stage the best meeting of the day in Britain tonight and Fort Dignity can land the feature Palm Beach Casino Stakes.

Sir Michael Stoute’s four-year-old caught the eye on his reappearance at Newmarket last month and if coming on for that effort should be the answer to a weak-looking Listed contest.

The son of Seeking The Gold was off the track for almost a year having finished fourth in the Glasgow Stakes at York last May before making his reappearance in the the Earl of Sefton Stakes at Newmarket almost four weeks ago.

He stayed on well in the closing stages that day and with that run expected to bring him on, Fort Dignity looks a solid selection to take the extended-mile feature.

She’s Our Beauty can score over the minimum distance in the opening race at Redcar. The two-year-old makes a quick reappearance in the “Redcar Hospitality Club Tel:01642 482478” Novice Median Auction Stakes after losing her maiden tag at Catterick last week.

David Nicholls’ charge fared much better that day than she had on her debut when trailing home last by springing a 20-1 shock from Jamie Osborne’s Multiple.

The filly landed the spoils by three-quarters of a length and saw off 10 others rivals, making her a likely sort in this five-furlong dash.

Up Tempo shaped as though his turn was not far away when dropped back to six furlongs at Haydock last month and looks the key o the Become A Redcar Annual Member Today Claiming Stakes. Having been well beaten over a mile on his previous two outings, the seven-year-old relished the drop in trip when filling the runner-up birth at the Merseyside venue. His last crack at the distance previous to that yielded a third place at Southwell and he is taken to prevail over a trip at which he excels.
