Walsh set for another good Night Out

THE brilliant Ruby Walsh is very much the rider to have on your side at Punchestown this evening.

Walsh set for another good Night Out

He again teams up with recent Fairyhouse winner, One Night Out, in the Tommy Dillon Plant Hire and Site Development Chase and the eight-year-old is nap material.

He’s a horse who has always been held back by indifferent jumping, but his recent success should have done much for confidence.

Mind you he did make the odd error then as well but, overall, his jumping was sound as he eased to a seven lengths defeat of Alpha Blues.

Smooth Limerick winner, Ballynattin Buck, and Wrapitup, who scored at Downpatrick a week ago, will help make the market and the selection to prove too strong for them in the closing stages is the prediction.

Willie Mullins trains One Night Out and he and Walsh can combine to land the Panoramic Restaurant Beginners Chase with Warrens Castle.

Successful twice over flights last season, he loves fast ground.

The Fourstars Allstar gelding returned from a long break at Killarney recently to make his debut over fences.

Even though only managing ninth of 14 in the contest won by Look Between Us, Warrens Castle ran better than the bare form and will surely come on a bundle for the outing!

Walsh rides Gold Blended for Michael O’Brien in the Kildare Outlet Village Maiden Hurdle. Runner-up to Teo Perugo at Limerick back in October, Gold Blended gets the nod in a moderate event.

Domnul Admiral, a close third to O’Driscoll and Louisville at Fairyhouse last week, is the choice in the Logicalis Maiden Hurdle.
