Pose can make most of drop in class

UNIQUE POSE, down in class, gets the nap to win the Irish Stallion Farms' EBF Fillies race at Naas tonight.

Pose can make most of drop in class

The admirably consistent daughter of Sadler's Wells ran her best race to date in a Group Three at Cork ten days ago. She made a brave attempt from the front, only wilting late when going down by half a length to the smart Kevin Prendergast trained Right Key.

Aidan O'Brien's Briolette, in receipt of 7lbs, looks the biggest worry. She showed little in two runs as a juvenile, but there was plenty of promise on her reappearance. That came at Navan where she chased home race-fit and heavily-backed favourite, Princess Nala.

Dermot Weld trains Unique Pose and he can saddle Amid The Chaos to land the Go Racing In Kildare Race. The conditions aren't exactly in favour of the selection, but he usually runs well in these type of contests. The five-year-old showed all the right qualities, for this evening's pilot, when beating Dr Julian a neck at Wexford.

Bonanza, who has the capacity to clean out a bank, gets a final chance in the Naas Summer Races Maiden.

Three times he's started favourite and three times has disappointed. All his efforts have been at a mile, however, and weak opposition and six furlongs may be just what is required.
