Broken wrist blow for Kinane

MICK KINANE is set for a spell on the sidelines after breaking his right wrist in a nasty incident at the Curragh on Saturday.

The rider, who enjoyed a bumper week at York, was on board Redstone Dancer in the Lanwades & Staffordstown Studs (Fillies) Maiden when the accident occurred around three furlongs out.

Fran Berry’s mount Indian Rite slipped and fell, breaking her leg and bringing down Kinane and Redstone Dancer who were travelling behind.
