Dr Julian looks right prescription for punters

The selection ran a solid race at the Galway Festival when fifth behind P’tit Fute in a handicap hurdle. It is, however, his initial outing over fences at Ballinrobe in May which sways one in his direction.
Dr Julian jumped well and stayed on in pleasing fashion in the closing stages to finish fourth behind well-backed stable companion, Kilbeggan Lad.
Feature event is the Kerryman Four-Year-Old Hurdle and Walsh has prospects here aboard Loyal Focus for Dermot Weld.
Weld reports his charge in good order and he doesn’t appear harshly treated by the handicapper!
Loyal Focus was a smart juvenile last season, putting up his best effort when third to Majlis and Don’t Be Bitin in a valuable Grade Three event at Fairyhouse in February.
A third Walsh possibility is Double Tree for Charlie Swan in the www.traleehorseracing.com Maiden Hurdle.
This fellow was a costly failure when parting company with Walsh at the first at Sligo, but previously ran a nice sort of race when fifth to Young Elodie at Galway.
Taqseem is the one to beat in the Irish Stallion Farms’ EBF Maiden. He should strip fit and fresh for this, having been rested since going down by three parts of a length to Dynamo Dancer at Tipperary in June, which was his third race in a short space of time.
