Taaffe can shine on Solar System

TOM TAAFFE, on the mark with Emotional Moment at Thurles on Thursday, can strike again at Clonmel today with Solar System in the Irish Stallion Farms’ Beginners ’Chase.

A useful staying hurdler, the selection promises to be more effective at this game, on the evidence of his first venture over fences, at Punchestown last month. Solar System was beaten a short head and nine lengths into third spot behind Nil Desperandum and Central House.
