Novacella set to lift Alner

NOVACELLA looks the answer to a trappy David And Gill Birthday Celebration Mares’ Only Handicap Hurdle at Fontwell today.

Her trainer Robert Alner is gearing up for a big day next week when Kingscliff locks horns again with Kicking King at Sandown and she can provide him with a confidence-boosting win.

The French import has only had three starts under rules in Britain and is held in high regard by Alner, who said there was much more to come following her win at Worcester last month.
